또 하반기는 계획단계로 여수시에 대한 아동실태 조사와 아동친화도 평가를 바탕으로 ‘아동‧청소년 친화도시 조성 4개년 기본계획 수립 연구용역’을 추진한다.

특히 아동학대 및 아동보호체계 개편을 위해 ‘아동 보호팀’을 신설하고, 전담 공무원과 아동전담요원을 배치해 촘촘한 아동복지를 추진하는 한편 학대피해 아동쉼터도 운영한다.

아울러 2022년은 시행단계로 시청내 전 부서 대상 아동‧청소년 친화사업과 전략사업을 내실 있게 추진해 2023년 하반기에 인증 신청을 한다는 목표다.

무엇보다 아동의 건강권과 생명권 보호를 위해 작년 아동급식과 아동수당에 173억 3천만 원을 투입하고 저소득 여성청소년 805명에게 보건위생물품 7천만 원을 지원했다.
