여수한영대학교(총장 임정섭)는 26일 화공산업공학과 재학생들로 구성된 어울림 동아리가 한국화학공학회 수상작품을 바탕으로 특허출원을 했다고 밝혔다.

 

한영대학교는 캡스톤디자인 교과목에서 시작품을 설계·제작하고 이를 개선·보완해 한국화학공학회 경진대회 등에 출품하고 있다.

 

특히 전국경진대회에서 3팀이 수상하는 등 학생이 발명한 아이디어의 우수성을 알리고 있다.

 

또 화공산업공학과는 새로운 아이디어를 발굴해 '2020년 한국산학기술학회 캡스톤디자인 경진대회'에도 출품할 계획이다.

 

한영대학교 재학생들이 발명한 3건에 대한 특허출원은 다음과 같다.

 

밀폐공간 작업자 안전관리 시스템 및 방법(이영현 발명자 외)은 적절한 보호장비를 챙기지 않아 발생하는 안전사고를 줄이기 위해 보호장비 장착여부를 판별하는 시스템이다.

 

라벨 부재가 부착된 음료용기(이창호 발명자 외)는 재활용 쓰레기 자동분리로 자원을 절감하고, 라벨지를 항균 스티커와 음료 빨대로 활용하는 장점이 있다.

 

냉방 안전모(이현종 발명자 외)는 끈 형태의 머리 고정대를 관형으로 대체해 유동로가 형성된 냉방 착장체가 형성된 새로운 개념의 안전모이다.

 

이와함께 학생들의 시작품 제작, 공모전 수상, 특허출원 성과는 전문대학혁신지원사업단의 지원을 받아 창출됐다.

 

강화영 사업단장은 "전문대학 혁신지원사업을 통해 학생들이 실무경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"며 "국가와 지역사회가 필요로 하는 지식재산 인재를 양성하는데 더욱 매진하겠다"고 말했다.
